▷ Which ingredients are used for pataBee Beeswax Wraps?

Our Beeswax, Cotton cloth and Jojoba Oil are all certified pure Organic! We also put a big portion of love into our products.

▷ Which size do i choose for my needs?

Well, that depends on the things you want to wrap. Here are some suggestions:

    • Small (20x20 cm / 7.8"x7.8"): For veggie and fruit leftovers such as cucumbers, apples, half an avocado or snacks like nuts and berries.
    • Medium (25x28cm / 9.8"x11"): Cheese, toast sandwich, cakes and cookies, covers medium sized bowls.
    • Large (33x35cm / 13"x13.8"): Small loaf of bread, cut halved watermelon, large bowls, sandwiches, long veggies like asparagus and celery.

▷ How do i take care of my Wrap?

It's simple. Rinse under cold water (caution, warm water will melt the beeswax), clean the Wrap with the soft side of a sponge and hang it to dry. If necessary, add a drop of mild organic soap.
Tipp: Fold your Wrap in half or even quarter on water jet for a better handling.

▷ How long will pataBee Wraps last?

On average, the wraps will last up to 6 months. If you use them on a daily basis, you may have to replace them every 3 - 4 months. If you just use them to cover bowls, they are your friends for up to a year.

However, the wraps are 100 % biodegradable. If you are no longer able to use them, cut them into pieces and compost them. You are even able to use the pieces as fire starters!

▷ Do i have to avoid anything?

Our Beeswax Wraps are not recommended to use with raw meat and fish. Also avoid direct sun exposure and the useage on hot food, as it might melt the beeswax. Beeswax melting point is around 65°C / 150°F which will damage the Wrap. Don't deep-freeze foodstuff with the Wax Wraps.

▷ Can I cut the larger wrap to a smaller size if I don't need anything that large?

Yes, absolutely! Use your sharpest blades to cut the Beeswax Wrap into size or shape which fits your needs perfectly.
